Who runs this

These competitions are run by one person, privately, for friends, family and anyone else who fancies joining in. There is no company behind it, nothing is sold to anyone, and nobody is advertised to.

What this page collects

Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type. This page has no sign-up, no contact form, no account and no database behind it — it is a list of competitions and some links.

It also sets no cookies, which is why you were never asked to accept any.

Visitor numbers

Anonymous visit counts are recorded, using Vercel Web Analytics, so it is possible to tell whether anyone is actually finding the site. That covers which page was viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, the browser and device type, and which link brought you here. It uses no cookies and puts nothing on your device. Visits are not tied to you, cannot be traced back to you, and are not followed across other websites.

Separately, the company that hosts this site keeps ordinary server records of the requests it serves, which include the IP address that made them, in order to deliver the page and keep the site secure. That is standard for every website, and those records are not used for anything else here.

The competitions are separate

Entering a competition is where details actually get collected — your name, your email address and your picks. Each competition is its own website with its own privacy notice, and that is the one that applies once you go through to it.

Your rights, and getting in touch

Because this page holds nothing about you, there is nothing here to see, correct or delete. If you have entered a competition and want to know what it holds, or want it removed, just ask — it is a small operation and there is no process to go through. Email danielle.pearson@live.co.uk.

If you are ever unhappy with how your details have been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
